Strategic action-planning workshops - book now
Dates for the first eagerly- anticipated strategic action- planning workshops have been announced. The action-planning workshops
are an important element of the Digital Growth programmes, which are taking place in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and run to 2019.
‘Eligible businesses can access fully- funded strategic action-planning workshops’
The two ERDF-funded
programmes, which saw over 350 businesses recently attend successful launch events across the region, will provide support and advice to SMEs in various locations across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. The D2N2 Digital Growth
programme is delivered in partnership with the Chamber, Derby and Nottingham City Councils, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire County Councils, Rushcliffe Borough Council and the Creative Quarter Company. The programme in Leicester and Leicestershire is managed by the Chamber in partnership with Leicester City Council and
Leicestershire County Council. As well as tapping into one-to-
one advice from dedicated skills advisers, including grant funding opportunities, eligible businesses on the Digital Growth programmes can access fully-funded strategic action-planning workshops, which cover a wide range of critical digital themes for businesses. The D2N2 Digital Growth
programme will deliver 340 workshops in venues across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, while the programme in Leicester and Leicestershire will deliver 240 workshops in venues across the region. These workshops will cover
subjects ranging from digital and social media marketing to wider information technology areas such as cyber resilience and international marketing. All workshops delivered through
the programmes are free of charge, with an expectation that all eligible businesses will receive a minimum 12 hours of funded support. Each workshop is a full-day session (six hours), with workshops scheduled throughout the year, with the first taking place in July. To maximise accessibility the
workshops have also been scheduled to take place in all local council areas, so that all businesses can benefit from a workshop being held locally.
