of some of the things that we have in the pipeline at the moment:
• Reporting suite – The first big change to the reporting suite is that access to the system is going to be opened up to allow DofE Administrator account holders to use the system.
expedition details to be added onto eDofE. Leaders are now able to add qualifying expedition aims for participants. It is also possible for Green Forms to be part-generated during this process. This will automatically input the required participant information, dates, expedition location and information about practice expeditions (if relevant) into the form so that the only details that need to be added are the Assessor and Supervisor contact details.
We haven’t at this stage been able to include open and overseas expeditions in the Green Form automation process. We are, however, looking at options and solutions for the future. We are also looking at how we can give AAPs access to this system.

There are plenty more ideas and developments still to come later this year and I wanted to give you a flavour
• Directly approve screen – building on the current directly approve functionality within eDofE, a new screen is being built that will allow you to see all participants that have sections that are ready to be signed off, although haven’t been submitted by the participants. If, for example, Sophie has passed the earliest completion date for her Volunteering section, has completed all the necessary fields and has uploaded her Assessor’s Report, you will be able to proactively approve this section for her.
• eDofE Mapping – we are in discussions with Ordnance Survey at the moment looking at introducing some small developments to help better improve the user experience and we will keep you posted with these developments.
• Training – now that we can access training records in eDofE we are hoping to introduce and develop a number of new features. For example, an online course application and payment system; the ability to automatically record the completion of pre-course learning modules on your eDofE profile and also to allow LOs to administer courses and Assessor accreditation details through eDofE.
There are plenty more exciting developments planned for this year but, hopefully, this will help whet your appetite for another record breaking year!
