The Costa Motoring... Time for something a little bit different this month!
Those of you who know us will be aware that we help organise various Rally
Raid
events to Morocco, the main one being the Maroc Challenge (
www.marocchallenge.com). Aimed as a low cost Rally Raid event for both first timers and experienced drivers, this event is open to all and is truly an experience not to be missed (and also not for the faint hearted)! Travelling some 3000 kilometres in a mixture of on and off road driving during 6 individual stages, the event has become the most prestigious of its type whilst still retaining the ethos of great spirit, camaraderie, with a fun yet competitive atmosphere. Predominantly aimed at vehicles (both 4 and 2 wheel drive) which are more than 16 years old (but can be newer in certain categories), the mixture of both vehicles and indeed participants is hugely varied which all helps to make the event so enjoyable.

Being Female Focus, we thought we would highlight an all female team from Jávea, who participated in the Winter 2016 edition. Sally Moore and Julie Voce teamed up in their 17 year old Mitsubishi Montero and headed off to Morocco with a few nerves, a little trepidation but also with enthusiasm, excitement and of course plenty of gin, tonic and a fridge full of cerveza!
