Nail courses at the KRU Hair and Beauty Academy KRU Hair and Beauty Academy is now offering Gel Nail Art courses in ‘Stiletto nails’: One day training course for only €150. Acrylic Nail Courses are also available: at €650 (The kit price is €250 + IVA and the course is €400). The course covers: theory – anatomy & physiology, health and safety, sanitation, client consultation, product information,
product application application, tip - prep, form application, liquid & powder ratio, one
colour sculpt/tip overlay, pink & white sculpt/tip overlay, filing & finishing, removal, maintenance and trouble shooting. The course duration is 4 days in the Academy from 10 - 4pm, spread over 6 weeks with homework to be achieved.
Foundation course in Hair and Beauty In February, KRU Hair and Beauty Academy are also launching a foundation course in hairdressing and beauty. This course is aimed towards students from the age of 14 years upwards and is designed to develop their practical skills in both hair and beauty, as well as offering them a qualification VTCT level 2 certificate in Hair and Beauty services. This qualification is recognised by the UK’s leading professional body, the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) and is based on the National Occupational standards for hairdressing and beauty. A great opportunity for anyone, young or old, wanting to seek a career in hairdressing and beauty.
