The Stellar award celebrates area attractions, historical sites, hotels, restaurants,museums, galleries, event holders and other businesses that enhance the reputation of Montgomery County, PA., as a visitor destination.The following members were chosen as the recipients of this first-ever award: Valley Forge National Historical Park, Culinary Arts Institute of Montgomery County Community College, Elmwood Park Zoo and The Montgomery Bar Association’s Courting Art Program.

King of Prussia - The Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board has hired Megan Tomlinson, formerly with the Pennsylvania Convention Center, as its new Director of Event Services and Membership.


King of Prussia - Robert Kisker has been named General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia-Valley Forge.


VIRGINIA Roanoke - Erica Musyt has been named as the new National Sales Manager for the Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau. Musyt will focus on bringing in corporate meetings to the Blue Ridge.


Leesburg - Geoff Lawson has been named Vice President and General Manager for the National Conference Center.


WASHINGTON, DC Connections Housing, an Atlanta-based meeting management, convention hous- ing and travel services company, has appointed Brad Weaber as Chief Innovation Officer. Weaber will work out of Connections Housing's Washington, DC office.


UNITED KINGDOM Richmond - Reed Exhibitions has announced the appointment of Chet Burchett as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2015.
