He adds that the hotel offers a meetings concierge and support on site with cus- tomizable high tech audio-visual capabili- ties through the hotel's partner, PSAV. In addition, at the end of a long day of meet- ings, guest attendees can de-stress in the hotel's 15,000-square foot fitness center.


Tim Bugas, vice president of sales for Crystal Springs Resort in Sussex County, New Jersey, talks about his beautiful, upscale resort and hotel getaway.


“Crystal Springs Resort includes three world class hotels, the Grand Cascades Lodge, Minerals Hotel and Mountain Creek,” says Bugas.“It started as a ski busi- ness back in the 1970s in the greater VernonValley Ski area.After becoming suc- cessful, the owner decided to build golf courses throughout the 1990s, and then added the Clubhouse for its more than 3,000 members." Finally the hotels were added, Bugas notes, including the AAA Four-Diamond rated Grand Cascade Lodge,which opened in 2007 as one of the finest properties in the region.


“The Grand Cascades Lodge has 225 rooms, the majority of which are one bed- room suites with vista views and views of mountains on either side of building,”notes Bugas. The hotel was connected with the clubhouse, and together they serve as a majorwedding,corporatemeeting and golf outing destination. “Golf membership groups come here and have their events, receptions and dinners.”


One of the prime features of Crystal Springs Resort is its impressiveWine Cellar, which is located beneath the clubhouse and boasts more than 138,000 bottles. However, Bugas observes, “everything revolves around golf.”The third largest golf resort in the world, its offerings include: the 18-hole Wild Turkey Course; the Crystal Springs Course and the Cascades Course, both of which combine to offer 27 holes; along with a driving range.


In addition, there are many meeting and event capabilities at Crystal Springs Resort. One notable space is its Emerald Ballroom, which is part of the Grand Cascades Lodge. “The Emerald Ballroom can host up to 350 people for a banquet,”says Bugas. “It is over
