Jacuzzi Spa & Bath Holds Annual Hot Tub Retailer Awards Evening

The dawn of every new hot tub season is an important time for Jacuzzi Spa & Bath. It is the time when the newest features and Jacuzzi® hot tub models are launched in the UK market and the latest Jetset retailer incentive scheme is introduced to Jacuzzi®

authorised retailers.

It has also become the traditional time to celebrate successes of the previous year and reward Jacuzzi®

hot tub retailers with the recognition and praise they deserve.

Taking the opportunity to inform retailers about exciting new products and initiatives for 2013, Jacuzzi also hosted a training session during the afternoon prior to the event. Presenting to an audience of over 50 people, Andrew Parsons, Training and Development Manager, captured interest by introducing the brand new Italian range of spas, as well as providing detail on the architect’s favourite, Sasha- Mi, a complete home wellness unit incorporating sauna, steam and emotional shower. This was followed by some very informative breakout sessions covering new initiatives which Jacuzzi would like their retailers to become engaged with, from Hotels to Finance, Website to R&D Brainstorming, each session focused on encouraging incremental sales growth.

This year, the Awards Night was held on 25 March 2013, at Rookery Hall, a beautiful building built in

1816, surrounded by 38 acres of countryside in the heart of Cheshire. It was an ideal setting with a separate conference hall and reception area, where guests were spoiled with a themed menu, cocktails, Pavarotti impersonator and a free bar. The theme of the evening and table décor echoed the launch of the Italian spa range with Italian colour scheme and flags aplenty. Winners in the 2013 scheme will jetset off to either Venice or Rio de Janeiro.

Awarding retailers with personalised trophies for their contribution in the last 12 months is a rewarding part of

the evening for all. The increasingly acclaimed ‘Retailer of the Year’ award is one which every Jacuzzi retailer aspires to achieve. A list of the awards and their winners are shown below. Jacuzzi hot tub retailers were thrilled to receive their awards and enjoyed an evening of dinner and drinks in celebration.

“Celebrating growth and success with all

our retailers is hugely important for us,” says Natasha McCreesh, Marketing Controller for Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. “It is a motivating event for us all and helps highlight just what we can achieve together.”

A young Tyneside woman who fought back from two life- threatening diseases can now look forward to celebrating a clean bill of health in style.

Rachel White was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis in November 2011 and had to be treated on the critical care ward. She made a full recovery, but five months later, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had

Rachel, who turned 21 in April is now fighting fit and celebrated her milestone

birthday with a hot tub, thanks

to the generosity of a North East company which heard about her battle and fundraising efforts. Last autumn, Rachel

organised a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. With the help of family and friends, she

raised more than £700 and a top prize of a week-long use of a hot tub was donated by North Spas of Birtley.

“The prize was actually won by one of my dad’s friends, but he decided to give it to me as a gift for everything I’ve been through,” said Rachel.

Rachel was presented with the prize and a glass of bubbly at North Spas prior to her birthday. She also hopes to organise another event in the future to raise funds and awareness for a meningitis charity.
