This includes the new TR2 low pressure UV systems for domestic pools, T2/T4/T8 ozone systems and the new range, medium pressure Crossflow UV systems for commercial pools.

While new equipment and comprehensive technical and after-sales service will continue to be available through Triogen, the working agreement with Golden Coast aims for a long term partnership in the supply of Triogen systems to the UK wet leisure market. “Triogen has taken great care in selecting its first UK distributing partner,” says Alastair Crawford, Sales Manager at Triogen. “We pride ourselves in offering the UK market not only the best quality water treatment systems, but also an open door approach. While a

complete and extensive training program has begun with our new partner, Golden Coast, Triogen will continue its commitment to every customer in providing the best complete technical support and after-sales service.” Alastair continues: “It is a time of great advancement at Triogen. Our existing range of ozone systems continue to lead the market and the response to our latest TR2 UV and UVARAY Crossflow systems has been exceptional. This agreement will not only further improve the service Triogen customers receive and offer easier, wider access to Triogen systems, but will allow more investment into product development. This will assist us in reinforcing our position as a worldwide leader in the manufacture of water treatment systems.”

LaMotte Plans European Expansion

Chase Leisure Centre Pool Brought Up-to-date

FT Leisure Limited have designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the water treatment systems for the refurbishment of Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock, Staffordshire. The 1960’s facility contains a 33m pool and a learner pool. Both filtration systems have been replaced and the 33m pool has been split into a 25m competition pool and separate baby friendly Accredited Teaching Pool, using a static boom. A moveable floor was also retrofitted to the deep end of the main pool.

The competition-standard pool is the crowning glory of the Stafford Road leisure centre’s £6.5m refurbishment that opened in March 2013.

LaMotte Europe is the new European office for LaMotte USA – bringing LaMotte’s unrivalled range of water analysis equipment firmly into the European pool and spa market. The LaMotte Europe’s office aims to consolidate LaMotte’s growth in Europe over the past six years through expanding dealer and distribution networks as well as supporting the existing ones. The office and warehouse, based in Warwick in the UK, has the advantage of providing a European stock centre resulting in significantly shorter lead times for European customers, as well as local technical expertise and support. LaMotte Europe Director, Tim Schofield, said that “The establishment of a European LaMotte office marks an exciting new era for the LaMotte brand.” The product range

includes the market leading range of InstaTest strips, colorQ photometers, colour comparator kits and, new for 2013, the revolutionary WaterLink Spin. The Waterlink Spin is a professional water analysis laboratory that can achieve a full suite of water analysis in just 60 seconds. With just one sample of water the Waterlink Spin measures pH, total chlorine, free chlorine and seven other

parameters of water chemistry and generates a full recommendation based report. The Waterlink Spin is faster, simpler and more accurate than anything that has gone before in the pool and spa water testing market. The development of the Waterlink Spin serves to emphasise LaMotte’s commitment to the improvement of water analysis equipment through innovative design. The LaMotte Europe team recognise this piece of equipment as a ‘game-changer’ and are particularly proud of being able to bring the Waterlink Spin to the European pool and spa market. Schofield adds that he is “proud to represent the LaMotte product range and introduce it to a wider customer base throughout Europe.”
