Estes Rockets


An Estes model rocket launch set is an ideal gift for both children and adults of all ages. It contains a re-usable model rocket and comes complete with a launch pad and launch controller. A whole range of Ready to Fly or self build rocket kits can then be flown from this launch pad.

a pack of rocket motors, some recovery wadding and some AA batteries.

It’s great family fun flying a model rocket. You prepare the rocket for launch, then from a safe distance insert the safety key and commence the count down...


By pressing the launch button, the rocket motor ignites and the rocket zooms hundreds of feet into the sky, untill it reaches its peak altitude and the parachute is deployed, allowing the rocket to gently float back to earth... ready for another launch!


With safety being of primary importance, model rocket motors must be sold to and operated under adult supervision, but this does not restrict the amazing fun and educational value that rocketry can offer children and adults of all ages.
