Ainscough Contemporary Art – 16 Foss St Emma Jeffryes solo show
Baxters – 12 Foss St “A different view” Emily Morgan, Gilly McCadden, Jennifer Collier and Sarah Palmer A mixed exhibition of 4 women artists from October 26th to November 15th 2012 to coincide with Dartmouth Galleries Week.
The show will feature paintings from up and coming mixed-media artist Emily Morgan and abstract watercolours and horticulture inspired screen-prints from Gilly McCadden.
3 dimensional forms will also be on show by Jennifer Collier and Sarah Palmer. Collier has a
nationwide reputation for her re-made everyday objects from paper “fabrics” and has her work in an increasing number of public collections. Palmer makes sculptural ceramics using surface pattern and form to convey her ideas. Her recent work has also been informed by some wonderful old lead figures and animals.
The private view will be held on Friday October 26th from 6-9pm where you will have the opportunity to meet some of the artists. All the work from the exhibition can be seen on the website www.
