THE WEIRS TIMES & THE COCHECO TIMES, Thursday, May 26, 2011 COAST GUARD MONUMENT TO HONOR NH VETERANS BOSCAWEN - The New
Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen will get a new monument for the Memorial Walk Way this summer if a group of Coast Guardsmen are successful in their fund raising efforts. The New Hampshire Coast Guard Monument Committee have been meeting on a regular basis for the past 8 months to plan and design the new monument which will be dedicated to all men and women who served in the U. S. Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Aux- iliary. The ground work on the
site has been completed and the dedication is planned for around the birthday of the Coast Guard, August 4th. Reaching out to fel- low Coast Guardsmen and women and auxiliarists to raise the additional funds to complete the project has begun. Donations can be sent to: the NH CG Monu- ment Committee,
P.O.Box 401, Henniker, NH 03242- 0401. The checks which are tax deductible should be made out to: NHVCA/ NHCGMC. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a branch
