13th Annual Lamprey


Appreciation Day Amoskeag Fishways, 6 Fletcher Street, Manchester. 10am-3pm. Often mistaken for eels, sea lamprey are the oldest and coolest fish in the Merrimack River. Presentations featuring live sea lamprey will run every half hour. Participants will discover the fascinating life and history of this ‘sucker’ fish during this one-of-a-kind event.
