the war was being fought, That, in itself would be a whole other story. It took a good hour un-
til the Wright Museum’s Sherman Tank was loaded and secured for its journey to Massachusetts. Once it is back in full working order it will be part of a military vehicle parade and then be transported back to New Hampshire in August where it will be- come, at last, a prominent display. There is even some talk
about a possible contest later on where Wright Museum visitors would be able to enter a contest to name the Sherman Tank.
We’ll keep you posted. As the 35-tom tank left
the museum grounds and slowly made its way onto the main street, stopping traffic, one could only imagine its descent down the highway, its intimidat- ing 76 mm cannon facing backwards into traffic. I don’t think there would be many tailgaters.
