ENCHANTING Holidays is offering enhanced commission and opportunities for agents to earn more as part of its commitment to working with the trade. The Mauritius specialist has just released its new 2015 dedicated Enchanting Mauritius brochure and Shafique Cockar, Head of Product, said: “We are dedicated to working with our trade partners and already provide travel agents with a high basic commission rate of 13%, with opportunities to earn even higher levels. Throughout the year we will also offer numerous other financial incentives.” He urged agents to cash in on

the commission available through Mauritius sales adding:

“Our

programme to Mauritius is essentially a luxury product with an average booking value of around £5,850 per couple. Agents will soon see it is a destination which offers them good profits. They can earn some extremely rewarding commission levels.” Enchanting Holidays also plans

to host a number of luxury fam trips to Mauritius and recommends agents watch out for these and for regular and special agency staff booking incentives.

Mauritius sales in 2014 are 14%

up on 2013 and the operator’s yield has also increased by around 7% thanks in large part to support from travel agent partners. enchantingholidays.co.uk

sell in

partnership with travel agents to sell cruises and holidays, and is recruiting an agency sales team to be based at its Folkestone HQ. This move follows research that shows the over-50s now account for the majority of

spending on travel and

tourism expenditure in the UK. Holidays and cruises booked through an agent will include all of Saga’s key features and benefits, such as included travel insurance, VIP door-to-door travel

on long-haul and cruise holidays and the services of an experienced representative in resort. Travel agents wishing to get involved can contact saga.co.uk

agencysales@ for full details. Saga has

already had success in selling its cruises through agents via its sister company, Titan Travel. Andrew Strong, Chief Executive, Saga

Travel said: “Feedback so far from agents is very positive. Our current customers like dealing with us direct, but there are those that prefer to pop into their local travel agent, and this new initiative means we can offer greater choice to some three million over 50s who book through agents each year. saga.co.uk
