Whether from the way people live in Austria, its culinary specialities, the high culture found in the cities, or the lifestyle lived by the lakes or in the Alps. It's a nation of welcoming hosts who offer plenty of tips to maximize visitors’ enjoyment.

THE NEW SALES GUIDE The UK travel industry is always searching for new and innovative product highlights and the Austrian tourism landscape offers the trade big potential to help achieve this. There are more than 400 tour operators in the UK that include Austria in their programmes, and their participation in a recent survey (held April/ May 2014) was designed to fi nd out which information about Austria is needed in the B2B sector and in what form the Austrian National Tourist Offi ce (ANTO) should provide the content. As a result of this survey, the ANTO will launch its brand new Sales Guide during World Travel Market (November 3-6) in London for the very fi rst time. This Sales Guide will not only be an inspiration for the UK travel industry but will also assist with initial business contacts and contracts with Austrian suppliers or destinations.
