Pühl offers a full range of capabilities, ranging from 0.5mm thick washers – produced with a stamping force of 125 tonnes – up to 12mm thick washers (with thicker possible) – formed with an impressive stamping force of 1,000 tonnes. Its product range includes high tensile washers such as EN 14399-6, BS 4395 and ASTM F436, conical spring washers to DIN 6796, as well as almost all types of other flat washers according to DIN or ISO specifications, as well as French (NFE), British (BS), Italian (UNI) or Scandinavian norms. Pühl recently increased the production of captive washers for screw manufacturers, which can be assembled during the screw manufacturing process. Pühl also offers technical support to ensure the correct choice of washer material. “We are quite unique in being able to offer a very wide range

A key feature of Pühl’s flexibility is its commitment to continuously investing in production equipment, logistics, and internal infrastructure, to stay competitive and to maintain the right capacities for its customers’ requirements.
In combination with introducing the latest production equipment and technology, a key aspect to Pühl’s service is its focus on quality. The company’s quality department includes spectral chemical analysis, hardness checking (HV, HB, HRC), surface control and high-speed inspection systems. “Everything you should have for good quality insurance as a manufacturer,” states Christoph. “When it comes to quality control we don’t see it as a requirement but as the only way to produce washers.” Pühl product quality is certified according to EN/ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001. “An important sign of quality for our customers is that all our products are ‘Made in Germany’, which is a real quality guarantee that only the highest standards are acceptable,” says Christoph. “As a company we focus on sustainable customer value and offering the customer a reliable, quality product, as well as an excellent service and first class delivery.”
