NORMA Group opens second Chinese plant
NORMA Group has started production in its second manufacturing plant in China in Changzhou, approximately 200 kilometers outside of Shanghai.

Over the next 12 months, the facility will have multiple new metal based product launches supporting both global and local automotive manufacturers in the Asia region. NORMA Group opened its first manufacturing site in Qingdao in 2008. It was expanded in 2011 and is now working to its full capacity. In 2013, NORMA Group generated 56 million euros in sales in the Asia-Pacific region.
New Czech warehouse
for Heads & All Threads
Heads & All Threads Limited has started construction of a purpose built 1,200 square metre facility in Chomutov, Czech Republic. Completion of the 1 million euro warehouse and offices is planned for January 2015.

built facility underlines our commitment to be at the forefront in central Europe for the foreseeable future.” He added: “We are working on a number of really exciting opportunities in central and eastern Europe and the building has been designed so that we can add an additional 800 square meters of warehouse relatively easily if required, further strengthening our position as a key player within this market.” Alan Hiatt, managing director for the Czech business, recently attended a function with the British ambassador for the Czech Republic, who is a strong advocate for British based companies expanding into the central/eastern Europe markets. The ambassador will be officially opening the new Heads & All Threads facility early next year. Heads & All Threads is headquartered in Birmingham, UK. As well as the UK it has established operations in Poland, Czech Republic and India.
Indutrade continues acquiring in the UK
Swedish based Indutrade AB has acquired all of the shares in Micro Spring and Presswork Ltd, which had annual sales of GB£4 million, and Birmingham Specialities Ltd in the UK, with annual sales of GB£6 million.
