This was my first visit to Prague so I was a little apprehensive with so many reports of it being a stag/hen destination. This soon disappeared as we entered this historic beautiful city. It soon became apparent there was much more to Prague than its reputation.
The Hotel Maximilian was well located, tucked away in a side street with its sister Hotel Josif just around the corner. The reception was stylish and manned by professional and friendly staff who checked us in with no delay. The room was an acceptable size and well furnished with a good size bed and huge pillows so a good nights sleep was welcome. It was clean and this was the standard throughout the hotel. The breakfast room was excellent and inviting with a brilliant selection that was continually being re-stocked with fresh food. If this wasn’t enough, you could also order from the menu with an appetising choice.
As i was only staying one night i did not experience the wellness studio which would be wonderful after a days sightseeing. If you felt lonely without your pet they will even arrange to have a goldfish in your room for company. When I return to Prague it will be to the Hotel Maximilian.
