It also completed in June 2010 the Bryn Cowlyd Water Treatment Works for Welsh Water. This improvement scheme involved the construc- tion of a new ultraviolet treatment facility and associated static mixer chamber incorporating all associated ductile iron pipe work including tie ins to an existing 600mm live main carrying 25Ml of potable water per day and servicing 100,000 homes in North Wales.

Dawnus says its project performance is mea- sured through the KPI scores awarded by clients and external assessors, along with internal mea- surements of health and safety standards, social responsibility and environmental targets such as waste, energy usage and carbon footprint. Dawnus Construction measures itself by operating a system of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on all its projects, and within the business support func- tions.

These include KPIs monitored by itself on both its own perfor- mance and that of its subcontrac- tors, and KPIs that are marked by clients both during and at completion of . Dawnus says it views the results received as an important input into its process of continual improvement and “as a basis for action as opposed to reflection. Our target is to obtain 100% in each of the KPIs marked by our clients.”
