At the end of its last financial year, June 2012, GALLIFORD TRY’s water order book stood at £430M which is roughly half of the total order book of Galliford Try Infrastructure.
The company is currently gearing up for its AMP6 renew- al bids starting with Thames. Galliford’s water clients include: • Yorkshire Water – in a joint venture with AECOM.
construction side has had to cope with stiff competition and weaker margins with squeezed operating profits down from £10.9M in 2011 to £8.3M last year. However, the order book has been maintained at £1.6B, and all projected revenue for the year to June has already been secured.
The strategy in construction is unchanged., and the focus will continue to focus on delivering margin and cash, says the group.
