BAM NUTTALL is a civil engineering company, part of Royal BAM Group, with the financial backing to have early contractor involvement and handle private, public, partner- ship contracts as well as tradi- tional forms of contract. Royal BAM Group,says that its companies in the UK con- tinue to perform resiliently in the current market, according to financial results posted for the year ending 31 December 2012.


The combined turnover for BAM Construct UK, BAM Nut- tall and BAM PPP, amounted to £1.7B with a combined pre- tax profit of £34.7 million and a margin of 2.0%.

The company employs more than 800 people in the UK and has an annual turnover of £150M. Barhale works on major framework agreements and one- off projects in the UK. It achieves a high level of repeat business, it says. “We have worked with our partners in the water sector to transform how projects are managed, providing a seamless transition from early scoping through to construction


and commissioning. This means lower costs and faster implementation to help our customers meet the requirements of the increasingly demanding industry regulator and water users.”


Barhale offers design and construct, water and wastewater networks and treatment, pumping stations, flood alleviation measures, tunnelling and shaft sinking and street works.
