In addition to making the Profit Track 100, Dawnus has been named South Wales Evening Post and Swansea Bay Business Life Business of the Year. It was named one of 12 companies and businesses short-listed for the top award, having been presented with one of last year’s monthly business awards in recognition of its contribu- tion to the economy of South-west Wales. The company was selected as the overall

winner, impressing the judges with its consis- tent levels of sustained growth not only in the region but also on an international level. The judges noted our high and consistent levels of local employment and impressive increase in our company’s pre-tax profit, which rose 296% from 2010 to 2011.

Dawnus commercial director Brian Dalling says: “We were very pleased to win this award and we were honoured by it, it is every bit as important for us to be recognised locally as well as nationally and internationally. When you think we were only started in 2002 it has been a tremendous ride really and we have enjoyed it. We have increased our geographical coverage in both the UK and Africa and look forward to building on these results.”
