Garment Decoration Awards 2013
Editor, Debbie Eales, presents the 2012 award for best embroidery to Raj Joshi of Digitizing Mart.
Rules for entry 1. All entries must be received at our
premises by Friday, 11th January 2013. Entries received after this date will not be accepted. 2. Only entries that fall within the categories designated by The Organiser, Datateam Business Media Ltd, will be accepted. 3. Entries must have been designed and produced between January and December, 2012. 4. Entries must not have been previously entered into the Printwear & Promotion Garment Decoration Awards. 5. Each entry must be accompanied with a separate entry form. Photocopies accepted. 6. A maximum of three entries per category, per company, is allowed. 7. All entries must include a detailed description of the techniques used in production and should include, where appropriate, information on the following: n The origination. Is it your own? n The machinery used, ie: hand
carousel/belt printer/mechanised carousel etc. nWas the item part of a production run or a one off? n Which side is to be judged (if both sides are decorated).
Failure to provide this information could result in your entry being withdrawn. 8. The identity of each entrant will only be known to the person making the entry and The Organiser until after the judging process. Therefore entries with the company name or contact details on the garment will be disqualified. 9. Judging will take place prior to Printwear & Promotion LIVE. The ruling on the awards will be at the complete discretion of the appointed judges and will not be open to discussion. The judges' decision is final. 10. All winners will be notified prior to Printwear & Promotion LIVE 2013 (NB: there will be one winner and one runner-up in each category). 11. All winning entries will be on display at Printwear & Promotion LIVE 2013. 12. Details of all winning entries will be published in the April issue of Printwear & Promotion magazine. 13. The Organisers are unable to return any entries unless postage and packing costs are prepaid and return requested at the time of entry. 14. The Organisers have the authority to withdraw any of the awards categories if there are too few entries.
