ruit of the Loomʼs new 96-page activewear catalogue, Everything & More 2013, heralds the launch of five new products, a host of updated garment designs, and the companyʼs new brand strapline. The catalogue will be accompanied by an 8-page Underwear mini- brochure, introducing the new Menʼs Underwear collection. This yearʼs catalogue sees a return to the A4-format for greater standout. The front cover shows the new Lady- Fit Valueweight T – one of many existing garment styles that have been redesigned for 2013. Improvements to the Lady-Fit collection include a new Lady-Fit Premium Polo and Lady-Fit Valueweight Vest, plus the redesign of the T shirt range and further options in Sweats.


The catalogueʼs opening spreads comprise informative brand pages: ʻThink Fruit for Fabricʼ summarises the key characteristics of the companyʼs yarns and fabrics; ʻGetting More From Moroccoʼ spells out the advantages of the companyʼs north African manufacturing facilities; ʻThe Right Garments, Made The Right Wayʼ documents Fruit of the Loomʼs ethical and environmental standards, including its new WRAP certification; and ʻOur Websiteʼ introduces the wealth of online resources that are available at www.fruitoftheloom.co.uk. The catalogue also includes a QR code that will take smartphone users through to a specially designed mobile microsite www.fruitoftheloom.eu/ qr/performance/en/), where they will


find full details of all the changes to the Fruit of the Loom activewear collection for 2013. A summary of the major new product developments for 2013, including the launch of the 100% polyester Performance Ts range, appears over the following spreads, with more detailed summaries appearing on the opening page of each product section (ʻMore Than Just A T Shirtʼ; ʻMore Than Just A Polo Shirtʼ; ʻMore than just a Work Shirtʼ; ʻMore Than Your Everyday Sweats & Fleeceʼ; and ʻMore In Our Kids Range Kidsʼ). Throughout the catalogue icons are used alongside individual garments to identify a new style, size, fabric, fit or feature at a glance. The Performance Ts even have their own


new ʻCool Comfortʼ icon.


Fruit of the Loom has also made it much easier to identify new colourways, not only by using larger colour swatches, but also by presenting the newly introduced colours next to a prominent ʻNew Coloursʼ icon and above the pre- existing colour palette.


Each of the 81 garment designs presented in the new catalogue is illustrated with a stylish lifestyle photograph and also by a smaller, detailed product shot.


Some of the product shots are overlaid with captions and leader lines highlighting key features and attributes of that particular garment. Where there is an opportunity for cross- selling – for example, complementary Menʼs, Lady-Fit or Kids styles – a photograph and page reference for the relevant cross-sell item appears alongside the garmentʼs product photograph.


Garment specs, sizes and colours are summarised at the back of the catalogue in the now familiar and easy to use Product Guide, Colour Guide and Size Guide.
