CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Grayson Bottom, City Manager

Letter from the City Manager Yukon has been blessed to have

outstanding leaders historically that plotted a course for progress. That growth has led to forward thinking citizens that have chosen to live in Yukon. The unique blend of respect for our historic heritage and an enhanced vision of the future have led us to be on the verge of a new era of growth and continued prosperity. Whether you already live with us, or are considering moving here, or want to visit often, you will be impressed with our style and quality of life.

Yukon has made a commitment

to improved transportation systems by addressing improvement to our arterial

streets and setting plans for the improvement of our residential streets and roads.

Public safety is a priority to the City.

We have completed the construction of a new Police Station that contains a state-of- the-art Emergency Operations Center. We are about to occupy a new fi re station and purchase new equipment that will serve the needs of the City for many years to come.

We continue to improve our capacity

for fresh water delivery and waste water treatment. Our award winning Parks and Recreation Department provides an outstanding array of programs, events, and

festivals for the enjoyment of our citizens and visitors alike. All of this has been possible through the continued support of progressive Mayors and City Councils.

Thank you for your time in Yukon. We

appreciate you being here and look forward to serving you.

Sincerely, Grayson Bottom, City Manager
