“Parks are for the People.” Yukon Parks & Recreation Department boasts 11 beautiful parks. City Park, Freedom Trail Playground and Chisholm Trail Park are the hub of busy Yukon activities. The three interconnecting parks include walking trails, playgrounds, Boot Hill observation mound, water features, Mulvey’s Pond and numerous special events including Freedom Fest, free Concerts in the Park all summer and the award winning “Christmas in the Park”.
