ADOLPHUS RUSSELLYOUNG "A.D." On June 4, 2010. Born in Culpeper, VA on March 3, 1937 to Charlie R and Genevieve L Young, who both preceded him in death. He was the youngest of three children. He attended grade school in Culpeper, VA. He relocated to Washington D.C. in 1946 and attended Logan Elementary School, Banneker Junior High and Armstrong High. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955 and served until 1959. After his discharge from the military he went to work for the D.C. government, V.A. Hospital and ended his career with the U.S. Postal Service as a Procurement/ Material Management Spe- cialist; with over 37 years of total service. While stationed in Geneva, NY he was baptized and joined the First Baptist Church of Geneva,NY He married Bernice A. Banks from this union they had two children, Glen T. Young and the late Derrick A. Young. Besides his love for family and friends he was always willing to assist anyway he could no matter the hour or day. No problem was too great to listen and assist if possible. His other love was cars, especially classic cars of the 1950’s and 60’s. His favorite car was his 1967 Pontiac Firebird his son gave him. It was his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Young; son, Glen T. Young (Lydia); two grandsons, Tyler R and Cameron A. Young and a host of other relatives and friends. Cindy was born to John and Joyce Hanson, on October 30, 1960 in Charleston, WV. She received her high school diploma at Quisqueya Christian Academy in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti while living with her missionary parents. She attended and graduated from Springfield Beau- ty Academy and Roy Peters Redken Color Academy. She married Shamim Sheikh on April 30, 1982 and gave birth to daughter Samira Sheikh on May 15, 1989.
She was owner and founder of Masters Touch Salon and Spa in Falls Church, VA. She had many listed accomplishments: Grund Revised Thinning Hair Specialist, Grund Cutting Hair Symposium, Marcia Teixeiva Brazillian Keratin Certification, Redken Color Exchange Certifi- cation and, Matrix Award of excellence, and Minardi Beauty Focus Certification of Achieve- ment. Cindy served on the Advisory Board of International Missions Outreach. Cindy was also an active member of Centerpointe Church in Fairfax,VA. Cindy built a school, a two dining hall, and two kitchens for Haitian Children in Haiti.
Cindy is survived by husband Shamim Sheikh of Vienna, VA, daughter Samira Sheikh of Vienna, VA, Father and Mother John and Joyce Hanson of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, and Sister, Faithe Claxton of Clendenin, WV. Passed away on June 14, 2010 at his home in Haymarket, VA. Born in Washington, DC on August 4, 1937, he was a graduate of Gonzaga High School and Georgetown Univer- sity. George was an avid reader, historian, story teller and sportsman. An entrepreneurial Irishman, whose business interests during his lifetime ranged from plumbing, water and sewer construction, bar owner and auto sales to owner of the Toy Store, an independent used-auto dealer, in Manassas, Virginia.
He was the son of the late George and Marie O’Connor. He was preceded in death by grand- son Rory Gentile and brother in law Ricky Glaze.

Passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2010. Rich was a beautiful body and soul who will be so dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
Rich was born on January 11, 1978, and was the oldest son of Pierre "Pete"Webb and Jo Ann Harris Webb. Rich grew up with his adoring siblings, Jamie and Mike, in Charlotte, NC, and Fairfax, Virginia. Growing up, Rich loved racing dirt bikes and spending time at race tracks and open fields. Rich had a fearless spirit and love for adventure. His passion for racing continued into adulthood where he proudly helped his brother at numerous race tracks around the country.
Rich was preceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, Capt. Charles Webb, and his maternal grandparents, James Erskine and Twila Harris. He is survived by his parents, Pete and Jo Ann, siblings Jamie Webb Brooks (Andy), Michael Glenn Webb (Marie) and three nephews, Parker, Carson and Asher, who loved and adored their Uncle Rich. Rich is also survived by his paternal grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and the largest circle of friends one could ever imagine. Three of these friends are, and always will be, brothers, Lloyd Knight, Rainier Pura and D'Andre Murray. If success in life is measured by friends and those who loved him, Rich was the most successful man we have ever known.
There will be a celebration of Rich's life at The Burke Lake Park Ampitheatre on June 19 at 3 p.m. A Christian Burial will be scheduled at a later time in Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers, Rich would want donations in his name sent to The Alzheimer's Association in honor of his grandfather or to Lutheran Social Services to honor his love and support of adoption. My son, my brother, my friend, you will be be so greatly missed. Forever in our hearts.
