A 15-year-old sailing prodigy, son of
industry professional Mark Hanson, is
riding the wave of success and has
competed in the World Laser Radial
Youth Championships 2009, courtesy
of his sponsor, Staples Disposables.
Elliot Hanson from Prestbury, Cheshire,
attended the event held in Karatsu,
Japan from 3rd – 10th of August. It saw
him set up against some of the best
sailors world-wide where he finished
18th overall and 1st for the Under-16
age group.
Prior to flying to Japan, Elliot had just
returned from Denmark where he had
attended the European Radial
Championships and finished 52nd in
