Join the recess revolution
Tooling International Limited (TIL), a manufacturer of header tooling with almost thirty years experience of supplying
the fastener producing market, says that its team based in Solihull, UK, is set to revolutionise the industry.
At WIRE 2010 Exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 12th to 16th April, TIL will launch
a brand new range of recess tooling possibilities that it says will demonstrate signifi cant
engineering advances.
TIL explains that the new range will still allow it to work with producers of screws with
existing recess forms, whether conventional or bespoke, but will also allow it to radically
enhance tool-life, accuracy, reliability and performance.
“Those screw producers exhibiting or visiting International Hardware Fair Cologne should
also consider visiting the WIRE show to witness fi rst-hand the unveiling of our new, exclusive,
and premium brand.”
“Anybody not producing screws but distributing instead may also wish to visit our booth
where they could learn more about our range of gauging and control equipment. We welcome
everyone to visit our stand and uncover the secret of the revolution.”
CPA’s new NUT CRYSTAL
CPA srl, based in Urago D’Oglio (Brescia), Italy, has used its 25 years experience in the sorting and inspection
equipment industry, to help it introduce the new NUT CRYSTAL, a sorting machine for all those parts with a fl at side.
CPA highlights that the NUT CRYSTAL is equipped with a glass rotary
table and permits 100% inspection by optical instruments (cameras, lasers,
optical fi bres, etc.). The NUT CRYSTAL, along with other CPA equipment,
can also be fully customised and is provided with an “open software”
(CPA property), which allows a wide variety of measurements.
“If your quality problem concerns diameters, heights, thread presence
and thread dimension, hole depth and presence or any other optical-
detectable measure, we can offer you a sorting solution at 300pcs/min.
The NUT CRYSTAL is extremely versatile and is equipped with a new kind
of camera that features the newly-released “automatic – regulation”
function. This function is extremely useful during set up, which only takes
the operator 10 minutes. The NUT CRYSTAL is also equipped with double
circular conveyor and can be completed with packaging systems according
to customer needs.
Constantly evolving
Sala Punzoni srl, an Italian manufacturer, has been
producing high quality punches and fl at dies for
thread rolling for more than 40 years. During this time
the company has always been evolving both from a
technological and a technical point of view.
Sala Punzoni’s actual research and development efforts concern
the strengthening of carbide punch applications in order to ensure
high quality products, especially in wire deformation and sheet metal
forming. Sala Punzoni is also working on the quality of fl at die materials
and profi les to try and ensure a longer tool life.
“This constant evolution is down to the demand from our customers
for the highest quality products. We want to make sure that we can
offer our customers everything they need, whether it is technical
assistance or development of new products for specifi c applications.”
