SEAC’s uncompromising Polytop
®
SEAC Ltd, a UK manufacturer of Polytop
®
nails and trademark owner of Polytops
®
, attributes the success of
the product and brand name to its uncompromising features and quality.
SEAC Ltd explains that Polytop
®
fi xings are manufactured to a UK standard using
top grade UV resistant polymer and A4 marine grade stainless steel, meaning that the
plastic heads will not snap or crack when hammered and the UV resistance keeps the
white tops from turning yellow. SEAC continues to ensure the best grade of steel is
used to guarantee no corrosion and absolutely no risk of rust stains ruining the fi xture
particularly on outdoor applications. SEAC also highlights that UPVC board manufacturers
such as Eurocell, Celuform and Deceuninck recommend only Polytops
®
on their boards.
Polytops
®
fi xings are supplied in boxes of 100 or 250 clearly marked with the
Polytops

logo and labelled with production details. The packaging can also be
customised with merchant details if required.

Vorpa awarded ETA approval
Vorpa has announced that its TOP steel anchor has recently received an ETA accreditation (ETA-09/0175).
The Vorpa heavy-duty TOP anchor is manufactured in the range of M6, M8, M10 and M12,
both in galvanised steel and A4 stainless steel, and can be used in concrete C20/C25 to C50/C60.
All testing for the TOP steel anchor has been carried out at Milan Politecnico and the
evaluation at DIBT, Berlin, Germany, in accordance with ETAG 001- part 2, ”Torque Controlled
Expansion Anchors”, on the basis of option 7.
Vorpa says that it is the only company in Europe bearing ETA for this class of anchors in A4
stainless steel material.
The installation of TOP can be pre-positioned (TOP and TOP BU) and push-through (TOP BP).
Vorpa explains that the TOP steel anchor is suitable for all bolts and studs with metric thread, and
that the expansion body is specially designed in three parts to allow perfect load distribution.
Vorpa says that this makes the fi xing easy to drive and enables it to be removed and refi tted
several times thanks to the special anchor shape.
Vorpa also highlights that the version with internal thread offers high fl exibility by using
threaded rods and screws on different type and length. In the same family of products is TOP AE
(which is not covered by ETA), a special tamper-proof fi xing model which is available as
protection against burglary and robbery.
On its website Vorpa offer customers the opportunity to download technical data sheets and
more information about heavy-duty TOP anchors.
