UZPS restarts fastener production
The Ural Plant of Precision Alloys (UZPS) has restarted production of fasteners, which had been suspended
in August 2008 because of the decline in sales.
The plant plans to increase production volume up to 200 tonnes per month by the end of the year. It has equipment capacity to produce
up to 700 tonnes of screws and self-tapping screws per month.
Nizhneserginskiy Metiz and Metallurgic Plant started producing a new type of steel, which will allow the UZPS and BEMZ production
facilities to improve the quality of their products.
