Arden achieves accreditation with PN PN UNI hardware, supplied by Groupco, has helped Arden Windows achieve Secured by Design (SBD) status for its new range of top swing timber windows. The Coventry-based manufacturer and installer says PN’s
robust, high
performance UNI window fittings played a key role in satisfying the stringent SBD standards. In order to gain SBD accreditation for its top swing windows, Arden Windows had to submit samples, incorporating PN UNI hardware, for rigorous testing at a UKAS accredited centre. Pocket Door for the space conscious Sometimes there isn’t enough room for a swinger in a door way. PC Henderson’s Pocket Door is probably the neatest way to fill this gap in the market (and in the door frame) yet devised. Pocket Door neatly slides into the wall leaving a clear entrance and exit without cluttering up the surrounding space with a redundant door. It’s a doddle to install. There’s no need for any special stud work (the system does not even need to be fitted directly to a lintel) as it has two frame brackets that make it self supporting. The door and track can even be removed without having to pull the wall apart to get at the parts.
