ABOUT YOUR BOARD:
Choctaw Electric Cooperative (CEC) service territory is divided into nine voting districts. In keeping with cooperative principles of democracy and fair representation, co-op members living within each district elect a trustee to represent them on the CEC board of trustees. Trustees serve a three year term of office and must meet certain qualifications designated by CEC bylaws. Once elected, trustees must complete professional development courses that educate them about accounting and finance, legal issues, federal and state legislation, energy regulations, and other business matters that are unique to electric cooperatives.
MEETINGS:
Te Choctaw Electric board of trustees meets the last Tuesday of every month at 9 am at Choctaw Electric Cooperative headquarters in Hugo.
