Lake Region Electric Coop- erative is pleased to announce the selection of three delegates to participate in the 2016 Elec- tric Cooperative Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C. The selections were made based on essays written on a topic cho- sen by the cooperative. From the essays entered, the local VFKRROV FKRVH WKHLU ¿QDOLVWV WR FRPSHWH LQ WKH ¿QDO TXHVWLRQ and answer session held at the /5(& PDLQ RI¿FH LQ +XOEHUW A panel of three judges inter- viewed the students based on their subject knowledge, per- sonality, speaking ability, and presentation. All of the partici- SDWLQJ VWXGHQWV ZKR TXDOL¿HG IRU WKH ¿QDO MXGJLQJ UHFHLYHG D $50 cash prize. The Youth Tour competi- tion is available to all students in LREC’s service territory who are completing their junior year in high school.
