Filing Dates for Bylaws and Trustee Elections


If you wish to submit changes to the CEC bylaws or run for a seat on the CEC board of trustees, please note these important dates.


Proposed amendments to the CEC bylaws must be submitted by June 24, 2016. Suggested changes to the bylaws will be voted on by co-op members at the CEC Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 24.


Members who wish to run for the position of CEC trustee must turn in a petition signed by at least 25 CEC members by July 26, 2016.


Trustee qualifications, elections and nominating procedures are found in Article IV, Section 4.02-4.06 of your CEC bylaws.

Please do not report outages on our Facebook page. Outage reports can be made through SmartHub, or call CEC's 24-hour outage hotline at 800-780- 6486. When power is restored, CEC will call your phone or, if you reported your outage through Smarthub, you will receive an email message advising you that power is back on. Outage updates will be reported on Facebook as soon as crews inform us of the situation.
