OBITUARIES
Tomas Kablach died Jan. 2, 2015. He was 89 years old. Kablach was an American Foundry Society Service Life member and a longtime member of the Chicago chapter, serving as chair in 1991-1992. Kablach was active in AFS technical committees for more than 25 years and an instructor for the AFS Insti- tute (formerly the Cast Metals Institute). He contributed to Modern Casting and the AFS Metalcasting Congress. He served as (past) chairman of the Calu- met Chapter of the American Society of Metals International and served on numerous committees.
