(already!) With construction barely started on site at Walibi, Pulsar won Mack Rides a 'Best Concept' recognition in IAAPA's Brass Ring Awards last November. We will wait and see which park will be next to install such an attraction, but for now it's sure to be a summer hit for Belgian park fans. The new attraction is located close to Psyké Underground, a Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop refurbished in 2013, complete with theming by Jora Vision. Other than the ill-fated Vertigo suspended coaster/zipline from ski lift manufacturer Doppelmayr, which operated intermittently for various periods in 2007/8, Pulsar is the first completely new rollercoaster at Walibi Belgium since 2001 when the park opened two rides from Vekoma, Cobra (Boomerang) and the wooden coaster Loup-Garou.
