Happy Family The perfect family-friendly 4D Halloween movie

entertaining new 4D film is now available for distribution to parks and attractions worldwide. Based on the tales of German bestselling author David Safier, Happy Family features the Wünschmann family, an apparently normal family, but they’re not exactly happy. Mother Emma encourages the family to put its differences aside by taking them to a theme park. Due to an unfortunate turn of events, instead of enjoying themselves on the rollercoasters, they fall into the hands of the evil witch Babayaga and a seemingly harmless ghost train ride turns into a ludicrously spooky adventure, but one which all ages will enjoy.

All Emma wanted was make

her family happy. But after a harmless joke with a doll, which turns out to be Babayaga, the Wünschmanns are transformed into monsters. Mother herself turns into a vampire, dad Frank becomes Frankenstein, daughter Fee turns into a mummy and son Max winds up being a werewolf. The family can only return to being the "Happy Family" they once were if the four of them stick together.

Once again, MackMedia worked

with Ambient Entertainment in Hannover on the cinematic implementation of the animated movie. This team previously

collaborated on attraction films The Secret of Balthasar Castle and Time Carousel, both shown at Europa-Park and seen by over 3.5 million viewers over the past three years. Those first two movies have subsequently been translated into nine languages and are shown in

parks around the world. Happy Family, meanwhile, is set for a feature length 3D release to movie theatres in summer 2017. Happy Family 4D makes the perfect fit for any park

thanks to it setting (most of the rides featured in the film are generic rather than from Europa-Park) and family- friendly spookiness. According to the Mack family, the 11-minute production is also a great complement to any park's Halloween season or special events, helping drive visitor traffic, merchandise sales and revenue. “This development represents a further milestone in the long history of the Mack family business,” notes Michael Mack, who as well as his responsibilities at Europa-Park also serves as CEO of MackMedia. “The co-production of a feature length movie seemed like the logical next step for MackMedia.”
