WEEK HVACR

GLOBAL

COUNTDOWN WOMEN

The inaugural Global HVACR Women Week is set to take place from 25 to 31 October 2026. The fi rst confi rmed event will take place in

Australia, where the AIRAH Women in HVAC&R Summit in Melbourne on 27 October will form part of the global programme.

F

urther activity is developing in Ireland. Women in HVACR Ireland is close to confi rming an event featuring an international speaker introduced through the week’s global speakers list. While details are

still being fi nalised, organisers say the connection refl ects the purpose of the initiative: enabling conversations and collaborations that might not otherwise occur. Support has also been confi rmed from Women in ASHRAE, which will share the invitation across its regional network. A new LinkedIn Showcase Page has launched to share community news, international voices and opportunities to participate. The Community Wall continues to grow, with around 80 women already

represented. Organisers are encouraging participants to invite colleagues, technicians, students, apprentices, educators and industry peers to add their photographs and join the global community. This week, organisers suggest fi ve ways to get involved:

• Follow the LinkedIn Showcase Page • Share the round-up • Invite another woman to join the Community Wall • Share plans for 25–31 October • Introduce your group and its members. The week’s message - 'Show up, Speak up, Lift others up'- is accompanied

by an open invitation for organisations seeking international speakers or connections. More information is available via Global HVACR Women Week, including contact details for event enquiries and community participation.
