JS Air Curtains has launched the fi fth- generation Standesse exposed air curtain, combining sleek architectural design with high-performance airfl ow, smarter control and practical improvements that make it easier to install, operate and maintain. Designed for commercial entrances where appearance matters just as much as comfort, the Standesse is well suited to applications including retail spaces, shopping centres, airports, banks and offi ces. Its clean, contemporary styling allows it to integrate into high-quality interiors while providing an eff ective air barrier across the doorway. At the heart of the new model is integrated AirGENIO PRIME
control. Factory-wired within the air curtain, it helps simplify installation while providing intuitive day-to-day operation. The control can be extended through an optional Wi-Fi module, allowing settings to be managed remotely via a mobile app. The latest generation also introduces a number of practical
improvements behind the casing. A redesigned single-piece suction cover is hinged and supported by metal latches, allowing it to remain safely open during servicing, while the control box can now be secured in the open position for easier access to electrical components. Water-heated models benefi t from increased spacing between the water coil connections, from 38mm to 43mm, making installation easier. A three-row water coil is also now available for the 1m model, providing additional choice when it comes to heating capacity.
Available in 1m, 1.5m, 2m and 2.5m lengths, with AC or EC fan options and electric, LPHW or ambient confi gurations, the Standesse combines fl exibility, performance and architectural appeal for a wide range of commercial entrances.

Star Refrigeration has unveiled Azanechiller 3.0, the latest evolution of its low-charge ammonia chiller, setting a new standard for industrial cooling effi ciency and sustainability.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, Azanechiller 3.0 exceeds EcoDesign energy effi ciency targets by up to 110%, using up to 52% less electricity than standard models. It outperforms UK competitors by as much as 20% in Seasonal Energy Performance Ratio (SEPR), making it the most effi cient low-charge, air-cooled ammonia chiller on the industrial market. Capable of operating across a temperature range of -20°C to +25°C and cooling capacities up to 1,600kW, the plug-and- play chiller is suitable for food processing, pharmaceuticals, data centres, ice rinks and temperature-controlled storage. Engineered for resilience, it off ers a 25+ year lifespan and robust safety features, including portable safety showers, enclosed electrics, and optional access ladders. Environmentally, the Azanechiller 3.0 is future-proof in that it is F-gas and PFAS regulation-exempt with a low ammonia charge (0.18kg/kW), and optimised for ambient temperatures up to 40°C. The system is also Ethos-ready, allowing real-time AI-based data analysis and energy optimisation. Azanechiller 3.0 aims to deliver a reliable, energy-effi cient, and sustainable cooling solution that supports businesses on their journey to Net Zero.
