Jet Environmental Systems has completed the installation of a customer-designed temperature- control system for MiTek, delivering tailored climate management across its major new facility. MiTek - a leader in off - site construction, structural timber engineering and connected building technologies - required consistent year- round temperatures between 18°C and 25°C to support its manufacturing and component-production operations. Jet Environmental designed a custom-engineered climate-control solution incorporating three air-handling units, an LTHW system, two heat pumps and full BMS controls, providing effi cient heating, cooling and air movement throughout the large-volume facility. The result is reliable, energy-effi cient climate stability that supports MiTek’s precision-driven production environment while reducing operational impact. MiTek selected Jet Environmental for its proven expertise in large-scale facilities where eff ective air distribution and precise performance are essential. ‘Excellent work by the team at Jet Environmental! At MiTek,
environmental control is paramount for protecting our people, products, and key operational assets. Jet Environmental delivered a high-quality, fi t-for-purpose installation that gives our facilities management team complete control and monitoring capabilities over our operational space to ensure seamless compliance and comfort,” said MiTek’s facilities manager, Mark Halling. Jason Hibbs, managing director at Jet Environmental, added:
“Large warehouse environments require specialist engineering to achieve stable and consistent temperatures effi ciently. Our system for MiTek delivers close-control conditions while supporting energy performance and sustainability goals. The success of this project was built on close collaboration throughout the programme, with Jet Environmental working alongside the consultants, M&E contractor and MiTek team to ensure a smooth and successful delivery.” Jet Environmental designs, manufactures, installs and maintains tailored large-scale HVAC systems for warehouses, factories, commercial buildings and other large-volume environments across the UK, helping customers improve operational conditions, comfort and energy effi ciency.

Aermec 1/9/25 13:58
Thanks to a recent expansion to its manufacturing footprint and the addition of new production lines, Aermec is now off ering faster lead times across its heat pump and chiller portfolio as demands for lower carbon HVAC systems continues to rise. Aermec’s uplift in manufacturing capacity is in direct response to customer requirements for high-effi ciency, low-carbon technologies to support building owners, facilities and estate teams, as well as mission-critical projects, to meet tighter project schedules, whilst progressing decarbonisation goals. Manufacturing lead times across the HVAC industry vary, typically 10-12 weeks, but Aermec has cut this down to eight working weeks for most small to medium-sized chillers, ASHPs and water-to-water boosters. “Our ability to reduce lead times gives customers a meaningful advantage that is well ahead of the rest of the industry,” comments David Evans, Aermec’s national sales manager. “We recognise the increasing pressure our customers face to meet tighter project schedules. This strategic investment gives customers faster access to the performance and reliability they expect from Aermec, a trusted brand in the HVAC sector.” Aermec’s expanded production capabilities come at a time of
great change in the HVAC industry as the market continues to accelerate adoption of lower carbon technologies. Regulatory pressures, sustainability targets, as well as the need for resilient, energy-effi cient infrastructures using fewer resources are shaping procurement decisions and manufacturers that can adjust and swiftly navigate often complex and time-sensitive projects off er customers a critical advantage.
