Aqua Cooling is marking its 25th


anniversary


with a landmark product launch. The Aqua Advance range is a new generation of high specifi cation process chillers, engineered around three core principles of reliability, durability and sustainability, all backed up with a 7-year warranty.


At the heart of the Aqua Advance range is an unrivalled commitment to build quality. Units feature fully welded bases to provide increased structural strength. All wetted stainless-steel components provide chemical resistance and eliminate corrosion risk in the chillers. Refrigeration pipework is 3D-bended to minimise brazing and therefore reduce potential leak points. The construction also minimises any risk of contamination, a critical advantage for industry sectors such as food and beverage and precision manufacturing applications. The design of the Aqua Advance range does everything possible to minimise the risk of process downtime whilst safeguarding effi ciencies and keeping costs low. In multi- compressor units, each compressor has an independent refrigeration circuit for built-in redundancy. The evaporator is fully cleanable, and the condenser features a hydrophilic coating, internal rifl ing to optimise effi ciency and increased fi n spacing to reduce debris build-up on the coil. A 5” touchscreen controller features built-in self-help guides for quick diagnostics, and built-in remote monitoring gives full visibility of system performance, wherever you are. Both are standard features within the Aqua Advance chiller range. Units operate on R32, a low-GWP refrigerant with zero ODP, which helps future-proof businesses whilst reducing their carbon footprint. Forth Pipe Organs has been incorporating Condair humidifi ers into its projects for over 20 years. David Page, Director at Forth Pipe Organs, said: “Pipe organs


are constantly reacting to the air around them. When humidity drops too low, timber components move, leather parts stiff en and tuning stability suff ers. Maintaining relative humidity between 40% and 50% is essential for protecting their long-term integrity and performance.” Steve Hale, Special Projects Contractor for Condair, said: “In


large venues with central air handling systems, humidifi cation is often integrated into the ventilation system, allowing moisture to be evenly distributed throughout the space. This approach helps stabilise humidity levels around the organ without aff ecting the visual character of the building, which is particularly important in heritage settings. “By contrast, many church installations and enclosed organ chambers require more localised humidity control. In these situations, compact steam humidifi ers with fan-assisted distribution can be positioned close to, or even inside, the instrument, delivering targeted humidifi cation directly to sensitive components. This provides eff ective protection even where no central ventilation system exists or where heating is used only intermittently. “When selecting the most appropriate humidifi cation solution for a pipe organ project, it’s important to consider not just the size of the space, but how air moves through it and within the organ itself. Ensuring balanced humidity throughout the internals of the organ, rather than in just one area, is critical.”
