The nextgeneration design delivers a 22% reduction in unit volume and up to 19% less weight, off ering clear installation and handling advantages. Seasonal effi ciency has been improved across operating conditions, supported by an extended piping reach of up to 100 metres, giving installers greater fl exibility on complex sites. With its smaller footprint, enhanced effi ciency and practical benefi ts, the Series 2 represents a signifi cant step forward in system design.

WINNERS Pilgrim Quarter HMRC Newcastle – Weatherite Air Conditioning
he Air Conditioning Project of the Year award went to Weatherite Air Conditioning for its work on the Pilgrim Quarter HMRC development in Newcastle, a project that redefi ned what could be achieved within a
tightly constrained urban site. Weatherite delivered eight highcapacity, fully packaged airhandling units, each incorporating a reversecycle heat pump while remaining within the original footprint. By integrating heating and cooling directly into the units, the team removed the need for a separate central plant, improved overall energy performance and met demanding indoor airquality requirements. The result is a bespoke solution that balances effi ciency, practicality and space sensitivity.
