The term „construction‟ in the OCoCP includes all onshore site preparation, material delivery, excavated material disposal, waste removal and all related engineering and construction activities as defined in the draft DCO.

9

The OCoCP has been compiled in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act, with the objective of highlighting environmental management controls in one cohesive document for the onshore works and formalises commitments made to the Local Authorities and statutory consultees in the Environmental Statement.

The scope of the main body of this document is not intended to identify the responsibilities at an implementation level or provide specific detailed methods, but rather to highlight the proposed content of the final CoCP and outline the approach to be taken within the context of the wider framework of EAOW environmental management controls.

12

Practical implementation and compliance arrangements associated with CoCP commitments will primarily be delivered via construction Environmental Management Plans (“EMP”) and other associated and topic specific plans (such as Site Waste Management Plans and Landscape and Ecological Management Plans).
