Code of Construction Practice – Subsidiary Plans Description

A Surface Water and Drainage Management Plan (see Section 11) will be prepared and implemented. The plan will include the approach to surface water and foul water drainage, and water supply during construction.

A Surface Water Drainage Scheme for Work No. 39 (see Section 11) will be prepared and implemented. The scheme will be compliant with Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) principles

A watercourse crossing method statement will be prepared to cover each watercourse crossing

A Contamination Assessment and Mitigation Scheme (see Section 8) will be prepared to mitigation and limit impacts arising from the potential release of contaminants associated with Works 28 to 30 comprised in stage (vi).

A flood plan will be prepared and implemented.

A Noise and Vibration Management Scheme (see Section 6) will be prepared and implemented to minimise and mitigate noise and vibration emissions and will form part of the project EMP.

An Air Quality Monitoring Plan (see Section 7) will be prepared and implemented incorporating emission control measures outlined in best practice guidance.

An Artificial Light Emissions Management Plan (see Section 3) will be prepared and implemented. The plan will detail the appropriate mitigation measures to be taken to manage emissions from artificial light emissions.

A Written Scheme for the Management and Mitigation of Artificial Lighting Emissions for Works No. 39 will be prepared and implemented.

A Site Waste Management Plan (see Section 10) will be prepared and implemented. The plan will manage construction waste across the project in accordance with a waste hierarchy to minimise, reuse and recycle waste materials.

A Pollution Prevention and Emergency / Incident Response Plan (see Section 12) will be prepared and implemented to include measures to prevent pollution and those to be adopted in the event of a pollution incident including recording and response procedures in the event of a release of hazardous materials or fire.
