proposals prior to the publication of the ES, and therefore help to shape the proposals prior to submission of the application to the Planning Inspectorate. It is the intention of East Anglia THREE Limited to publish PEI at an advanced stage in the project programme to provide sufficient information to allow meaningful consultation. The PEIR will be available to consultees during the first half of 2014.

In order to agree the environmental studies required for the EIA with statutory consultees, East Anglia THREE Limited published a Scoping Report in November 2012. This document included detailed information on the approach to EIA for the offshore windfarm, an indicative project description for offshore and onshore works and a summary of potential impacts which will be assessed. Two summary documents, the East Anglia THREE Summary of Environmental Considerations – Onshore, and East Anglia THREE Summary of Environmental Considerations – Offshore, have been produced as reference documents for the purposes of this consultation. They provide a summary of the key information available in the Scoping Report, and are available to download from the project website, the details of which are directly above and at the end of this document.

As well as the scoping report referred to above, key documents will be published on (or linked to) the project website in accordance with the following approximate schedule:


August 2013: The Statement of Community Consultation and Report to Inform the Statement of Community Consultation, setting out the consultation process for the East Anglia THREE Offshore Windfarm project were submitted to local planning authorities, and subsequently published in September 2013.
