Potential construction phase dust impacts were considered at existing sensitive receptor locations within 350m of the onshore cable route and indicative converter station location, and within 50m of the edge of access roads that will be used by construction vehicles, up to 500m from the boundary of the works, in accordance with Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) guidance (IAQM 2014).

Impacts from construction vehicle exhaust emissions were considered at sensitive receptor locations along site access routes, as detailed within Chapter 27 Traffic and Transport. The study area covers the towns of Wickham Market, Woodbridge, Ipswich, Bramford, Claydon and Needham Market. The primary, main and secondary routes that were considered in the assessment are detailed in Table 20.2.
