The significance of any changes in pollutant concentrations in relation to construction traffic emissions were considered in the context of the national air quality Objectives detailed in the Government's Air Quality Strategy and the Environmental Protection UK (EPUK) guidance document 'Development Control: Planning for Air Quality 2010 Update' (EPUK 2010).


43. The assessment considered the following scenarios:


 Base year (2012);  Year of Construction (2018) ‘without proposed East Anglia THREE project’;  Year of Construction (2018) ‘with Scenario 1’; and  Year of Construction (2018) ‘with Scenario 2’

24 hour Annual Average Daily Traffic (AADT) flows and HGV percentages were provided by Royal HaskoningDHV, the transportation consultants for the proposed East Anglia THREE project. The traffic data used in the assessment is detailed in Table 20.11 and Table 20.12.
