OF TRUENORTH AVIONICS Global aeronautical communications provider Satcom Direct (SD) announces at MEBAA 2016 that it has closed its purchase of TrueNorth Avionics, a manufacturer of cabin communications solutions. With the acquisition of TrueNorth complete, SD signifi cantly expands its ability to provide advanced communications systems for VIP and VVIP aircraft. FACTORS AND RISK MANAGEMENT COURSE Robert “Bob” Gould, president of Bravo Golf Aviation, is off ering a new one-day, eight-hour “Aviation Human Factors Refresher and Update” course designed for fl ight departments and technicians with specifi c human factors subjects. This course is FAA-accepted for eight (8) hours Inspection Authorization renewal training and is an approved NBAA PDP course. Bravo Golf Aviation continues to off er its two-day “Practical Aviation Risk Management” course that is also FAA IA-accepted for eight (8) hours training and NBAA PDP-approved.
