that it has been named an Advent Aircraft Systems dealer for its Advent eABSTM anti-skid braking system for the Pilatus PC-12 and Beechcraft King Air B300 and B200 aircraft. The eABS is an aff ordable,


lightweight and easily installed system that requires no change to the existing brake system. It provides improved braking performance in all conditions, reduces the risk of fl at-spotted or blown tires, lessens the risk of prop erosion and FOD ingestion, and allows for hard braking at touchdown speeds. “We are thrilled to be working with Advent Aircraft Systems,” says vice president and general manager of Western Aircraft, Austin Shontz. “The company’s innovative off erings expand the opportunities available to our Pilatus and King Air customers.” This is the fi rst eABS for the PC-12 and King Air aircraft, and the system is proving to be of particular interest to fl ight departments that transition pilots from ABS-equipped aircraft. “We are proud to have Western


Aircraft, the largest Pilatus PC- 12 dealer in the world, selling and installing the eABS,” says Tom Grunbeck, vice president of Marketing and Sales for Advent Aircraft Systems. “Western has terrifi c knowledge of the benefi ts and technology the eABS will off er its customers.” The eABS was fi rst certifi ed on the Eclipse EA500/550 in December 2013, with over 110 systems in operation to date. In addition to the certifi cation for the Pilatus PC-12 and Beechcraft King Air B300/ B300C/B200, Advent’s eABS is currently being planned or developed for other aircraft types, such as the Beechcraft T-6B/C and USAF T-38C, for both retrofi t and OEM application.
